The Fiat 500 Gets Updates for 2015

2015 Fiat 500 Release

The Fiat 500  is one of our favorites for a number of reasons: It’s compact, affordable, and packed with great features. What’s not to love? And even though the current model is excellent, Fiat’s doing even more to improve it for 2015. It’s not a complete overhaul by any stretch, but the 2015 Fiat 500 release will bring some welcome changes that make it that much nicer to own and drive.
What are some of the changes? First of all, and what’ll be most readily apparent, is an improved instrument cluster. It features a large, clear readout of the speed and an image of the car on a seven-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) display that’s as great to look at as it is functional. Here’s a preview of what it will look like in the new Fiat 500:

There you’ll be able to see other information as well like gas mileage and distance traveled. The center console also receives an update, with standard Bluetooth streaming audio being added to the phone compatibility that already comes as part of the package. There will be an extra USB port (you can never be too connected, right?) and a new look for the console – even the cup holders are getting a makeover!

You’ll be able to see these updates starting in new models this summer. The TFT display will come standard on the Sport, Lounge, Turbo, and Abarth models, and it’ll be an option if you want it in the Pop. Drivers can also look forward to a new option of a six-speed automatic transmission for the Turbo, Abarth, and Abarth Cabrio models.
Thinking about it? Want to check out the current models in stock so you have something to compare the new one to? Sure you do! Come on in and we’ll set you up with a fun test drive, some reading material, and hopefully the start of your journey to owning a new Fiat 500! Lucky you!
