Although we might not see the 2015 Fiat 500e here in Wisconsin, those of us who are interested in electric vehicle technology — and that Fiat brand, of course! — will still be interested to know that details for the 2015 Fiat 500e have been announced. The 2015 Fiat 500e has a best in class MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) rating of 108 highway. In terms of what drivers can expect to see for a range, the number recently put out by the EPA is 87 miles — and that’s with a mix of city and highway driving. For mostly city driving, Fiat 500e owners will be looking at something more along the lines of over a hundred miles thanks to the regenerative braking system.
Another cool feature of the 2015 Fiat 500e is the Fiat Access smartphone app, which is compatible with both iPhone and Android phones, giving drivers real-time vehicle status, helps monitor energy use and keep track of it over time, locate nearby charging stations… even locates the vehicle if you’re the type to forget where you parked!

Where is the Fiat 500e being sold? Last year’s model was only sold in California, but for 2015 this also expands to Oregon! We hope the number of states that offer this innovative vehicle only continues to double in the coming years!
