2018 Fiat 500 models will all come standard with an exciting new feature: a turbocharged engine! Fiat announced recently that new 500 models will come equipped with a standard MultiAir Turbocharged engine and more efficiency than ever before. Let’s check out the new Fiat 500!

2018 Fiat 500 Engine Specs and Performance Features

The 2018 Fiat 500 has an all-turbo lineup, with every model coming standard with a 1.4-liter MultiAir turbo engine that provides a more dynamic driving experience. The 500’s engine features a single turbocharger, twin intercoolers, and a sport-tuned exhaust. The 500 will be able to reach 135 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque and offers either a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.
On the Fiat 500 Abarth trim, the 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine reaches up to 160 horsepower and 183 pound-feet of torque while providing track-ready durability and a phenomenal ride. Unique to the Abarth trim are a performance suspension, three-mode electronic stability control, 16-inch Hyper Black aluminum wheels, Pirelli tires with red brake calipers, a double-tip dual exhaust system and more.
2018 Fiat 500 Pop and Lounge trims will have a standard performance braking system and suspension, ParkView rear backup camera, sport spoiler and other exterior updates. New colors are also available for the 2018 Fiat 500, including Brilliante Red and Mezzanotte Blue Pearl.
