The next new Fiat on its way to the market is the upcoming 2019 Fiat 500X. With its press kit just released, let’s take a look at some of the new features coming with this refreshed Fiat model. Today, we’ll be looking at the brand new efficient and powerful engine of the 2019 Fiat 500X along with its new trim levels.

2019 Fiat 500X New Engine Efficiency and Power Output

One big change is the newly equipped engine of the 2019 Fiat 500X. The 2018 Fiat 500X was equipped with a baseline 1.4L inline 4 engine with 160 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. However, the new baseline engine of the 2019 Fiat 500X is a 1.3L inline 4 engine. Its smaller size increases efficiency yet also provides a significant boost to power, generating 177 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque!
To also significantly improve performance, this new 2019 Fiat 500X engine also includes the following:

  • ESS Emissions Reduction Technology
