Fiat 500X release date
We’ve heard plenty of rumors about an all-new addition to the Fiat 500 badge in the form of a fresh crossover to join the growing class, but not until recently have we been able to catch a glimpse of what this exciting new model will look like. Well now we’ve got that glimpse — and we do mean just that! Below is the recently-premiered sneak preview video that Fiat has just released to entice us — and it’s working! It’s plain to see that this is something noticeably different from the classic Fiat, while still being true to the iconic shape and feel. We know that it’s slated to have the typical Fiat interior, that is, completely unique and immaculately detailed with that signature Italian style.
Another fun detail is that since the Fiat and Chrysler join-up, new and thrilling possibilities have opened up for Fiat vehicles — namely, the 1.4-liter Multiair and 2.4-liter Tigershark engine options that we currently know to be part of the lineup for the all-new Jeep Renegade coming out later this year.
We think it’s great that an all-new Fiat is joining the fold, especially at such an exciting time for the Italian automaker. Fiat vehicles are known for being fun to drive and ride in, fresh and original in design, and imbued with a sense of both humor and class. We think they’ll be adding something really noteworthy to the crossover class, which, dare we say it, is starting to look pretty uniform these days?
We can expect to see the full reveal of the new Fiat 500X some time during the Paris Motor Show, which will take place this fall from October 2-19. Expect to see more pics and details from us as they emerge!
