2015 Fiat April Fools pranks
So, we all survived another April Fool’s Day. Hopefully you didn’t make the mistake of believing a wacky story and telling the world about it through social media, only to find out it was a joke hours later. That’s the worst. Well, Fiat had a few tricks up their sleeve this year. We’ll also share a few of our other favorite pranks from other companies. Read on to see the 2015 Fiat April Fools pranks.
There is just something really great about fooling someone into believing a crazy story. While it might not be the nicest thing to do, the fact that we have an entire day set aside for this alone makes it a little less mean. This year, Fiat “teamed up” with Jelly Belly UK to produce Fiat 500 vehicles that are flavored like your favorite Jelly Belly jelly beans.
Here is a link to an article where you can view the images. The Fiat 500 is advertised to come in flavors like buttered popcorn and cotton candy. That really would be crazy, huh?
There was one other Fiat April Fool’s Day prank that made us chuckle this year. This advertisement for the Fiat 499 was released showing a cute and hilariously small version of the Fiat 500. Looking like it is almost cut in half, this little prank makes light of the jokes people make about Fiat vehicles being so tiny.
Those were the two big pranks pulled by Fiat, but this article talks about several other companies that went above and beyond the normal prank to make people laugh all over the world. For example, Google Maps gave people the option to turn any map into a game of Pac Man. Not only was this hilarious, but completely unexpected. We love a good prank like that!
