2017 Fiat 500L Safety
The Fiat 500L is spacious and luxurious. The available ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System uses sensors to help detect objects behind you while you are in reverse situations and will alert you with both audible and visible warnings that there are objects in your path. The ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera turns on in your display when you put your vehicle in reverse with gridlines to help you determine distance in tight parking situations.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is equipped in the 500L to help give you a safe and stable ride. This system helps to correct the vehicle’s course by adjusting the throttle and applying the brakes to individual wheels which helps you maintain directional control. Proper Protection is a vehicle security alarm that monitors unauthorized entry or ignition of your 500L and gives off an alarm and flashing headlamps if triggered to prevent thieves from taking your vehicle. The 500L is equipped with a four-wheel disc anti-lock brake system which also helps each wheel to brake independently to increase your control and prevent wheel lockup and skidding. The Fiat 500L features seven airbags throughout the cabin and an advanced steel safety frame that gives everyone peace of mind.
