The trend-setting cars in FIAT’s line-up are a perfect fit for the sort of people who like to be the first to discover the best in new talent. If you’re a fan of checking out new music, you’ll love FIAT’s latest contest, the Band Prix. We’ve got all the details here on how you can listen, get free downloads, and vote for your favorite emerging artists across five genres. We’ll also give you some information about how to get your local band some exposure, and where to see live entertainment downtown this month!
What is it? FIAT has teamed up with ReverbNation to help discover artists and bands that have what it takes to hit it big-time. The contest includes five genres of music – rock, pop/dance, urban, country, and alternative. The top prize is a trip to Miami to appear on VH1’s Top 20 Video Countdown, airing on December 14th.
How do I participate? It’s easy. Just go to the FIAT USA Facebook page and check out FIAT Band Prix (Why not stop by ours while you’re at it?). There, you’ll be able to listen to listen to songs by all the contestants and download your favorites for free. Your download counts as a vote for the artist!
When does voting begin/end? Voting has already begun, so hurry! It ends on November 19th, 2013.

Held at Breakwater Bar and Grill at 7pm, it’s a chance to meet folks from 15 local venues and deliver a three-minute pitch to get them to hire your band!
