Sorry, Fiat cars don't float (not yet, anyway)

Do Fiat cars go underwater?

Here at Palmen Fiat we’ve been known to show you some of our favorite Fiat TV spots, and this one has been around a while, prompting a bit of confusion in the online world. The commercial may be a few years old now, but it’s still prompting people who saw it to ask, “Wait… do Fiat cars go underwater?” Today we clear up the mystery once and for all and let you know about how you can enjoy driving a Fiat even if you’re still currently limited to dry land when doing so.
Nope, you can’t take your Fiat underwater. The idea behind the commercial was that throughout Italy, Fiat cars were imbued with such an insatiable thirst for adventure that they began driving themselves into the sea, America-bound and stopping at nothing to make a new home for themselves in your garage!
While that might not be true, it’s still a fact that models like the Fiat 500 and Fiat 500L are incredibly fun to drive, great on gas, and therefore ideal for your next adventure great or small. Where should you take your Fiat this year? How about a drive through Northern Wisconsin to see the fall colors or to one of our great state parks for a picnic and some exploration? One thing is for sure: If you’ve got a Fiat vehicle, you’re bound to have a good time and feel the thrill of the road — Even if it’s just that and not the ocean floor.
We’re sincerely sorry to tell you that there’s yet to be a land vehicle that can drive on the bottom of the sea from or to Europe, but we agree it would be awfully impressive and fun if there were. Until that day comes, let us know if there’s anything (realistic) we can help you with in regard to getting behind the wheel of a new Fiat car here in Kenosha!
