Free college tuition and school supplies for car dealership employees

A higher education costs a pretty penny in an economy that doesn’t even offer a guarantee of a job after graduation. In order to battle this problem, Fiat-Chrysler is offering workers at their dealerships the chance of a lifetime. Free college tuition and school supplies for car dealership employees? You read that correctly, and we’ll tell you even more!

Often times, a company will offer to pay in to help an employee achieve a master’s degree, but employees are expected to have paid for their way through a bachelor’s degree on their own. This can cost young adults thousands and thousands of dollars each year in loans, books, and even transportation. What good is a degree when you graduate in loan debt over your head and scarcity of jobs leaving you unemployed for months?

Battling the current economic climate is Fiat-Chrysler with their offer to dealership employees. With the hopes of bringing in hard-working and talented employees, Fiat-Chrysler has set up a program within Strayer University’s Degrees@Work program. Included in this sweet deal are tuition fees, books, and other expenses. Without the stress or financial burden of overwhelming loans, employees would be free to enjoy a higher education’s benefits, all while working for a company that genuinely cares about their future.

The program will affect a large number of Chrysler-Fiat workers across the country whose dealership has decided to participate. While the dealership pays a monthly fee to be included in the program, the students themselves pay nothing for the option of associates, bachelors and masters degree programs.

Strayer University, offering a variety of classes, has locations across the country but also gives students the chance to take online courses that fit more easily into a busy schedule. An employee only needs to have worked at the dealership for 30 days to begin taking advantage of the program, which has been put into place to help attract and retain quality employees for dealerships across the nation.
