2021 Fiat 500X

How safe is the 2021 Fiat 500X?

When it comes time to start the car buying purchase, one of the most important things that a vehicle can provide you is safety. With the 2021 Fiat 500X, there are 75 different safety features designed to keep you, other drivers, and any passengers you may have as safe as possible on the road. Below, we are going to jump into four of the biggest safety features, and how they operate to keep you safe. Let’s jump into it now.

2021 Fiat 500X – Forward Collision Warning

The first safety feature we can get into is the Forward Collision Warning system, otherwise known as FCW. The feature works by getting your brakes ready and sending you an audio and visual message if it senses a potential collision ahead. If for some reason you are unaware of what is happening, the vehicle can bring you to a complete stop to avoid a collision as well.

2021 Fiat 500X – Blind Spot Monitoring

Another feature to help avoid potential collisions is the Blind Spot Monitor, also known as the BSM. What this feature does is quite simple, it sends an audio and visual warning to you, the driver when there’s a vehicle in either one of your vehicle’s blind spots. By doing this, you know when it is safe and when it is not safe to make a lane change on the road.

2021 Fiat 500X – Parkview Rear Backup Camera

For when it’s time to leave a busy supermarket or store or even backing out of your driveway, the Parkview Rear Backup Camera has your back. This camera displays a wide-angle video of your surroundings behind your vehicle. It can show objects and vehicles that your rearview and side mirrors can’t.

2021 Fiat 500X – Adaptive Cruise Control

The last feature we want to go over today is the Adaptive Cruise Control available in the Fiat 500X. Adaptive Cruise Control uses sensors to set and maintain a steady speed on the road. If the sensors detect no near objects on the road ahead, it will maintain that speed. When slower traffic is detected by these sensors, it will adapt accordingly.
