We know, brunch is a bit of a cliche when it comes to Mother’s Day activities, but some traditions exist for a reason. In this case, a huge meal with no mess to clean up and some quality, hassle-free time with Mom. Here are some Kenosha Mother’s Day Brunch ideas for 2014 that we think offer something a little extra special (and one that’s all just all about the great food!).
Borzynski’s Farm & Floral Market – The popular farm & floral market in nearby Mt. Pleasant hosts a huge brunch of salad, pastries, ham, fish, chicken, and more. Mom gets a complimentary corsage. Reservations are required, two seatings at 10:30 and 12:30.
Mother’s Day Brunch and Spring Wildflower Walk – Make your way to the Pringle Nature Center in Bristol for a light brunch and a walk through the flowers, guided by a naturalist who will tell you more about what’s in bloom on this lovely stroll. Register ahead of time, and indicate whether you’d like to do your hike at 10:30, 11:30, or 12:30.
Tremper Golden Strings Mother’s Day Brunch & Show – The Tremper Golden Strings, a well-known high school strolling strings ensemble, hosts a unique event for Mother’s Day 2014: brunch by Culinary Infusion and a show by the ensemble at UAW Local 72 Hall on 3615 Washington Road here in Kenosha. There are two seatings at 10:00am and 1:30pm, so get your reservation soon for your preferred time. There will be great raffle prizes donated by local businesses, too!
Boathouse Pub & Eatery Mother’s Day Brunch – This one’s a straightforward brunch that’s all about the great food at Boat House Pub & Eatery in Kenosha. This huge brunch will include a chef carving station, a baron of beef and smoked ham, made to order omelets, salad, pastry, a huge buffet, and more. You can’t go wrong with a huge selection with something for everybody.
