New Fiat Aegea from the Istanbul Motor Show
Here in the US, the Fiat vehicles we see are all cute and retro. While there is nothing wrong with this style, it is a surprise to see a vehicle with the name Fiat but without the characteristic round lights and quirky design. The new Fiat Aegea from the Istanbul Motor show shows a different side to Fiat that is sure to make some car shoppers jealous. Want to see what we’re missing in the US?
Sure, there are lots of great things to love about the Fiat lineup available in the US. The great design makes vehicles stand out, and Italian influence gives them a European vibe that is not only interesting, but stylish. There are, however, some that feel that Fiat vehicles are too “cute” for them. Well, after seeing what Fiat has put together for the 2015 Istanbul Motor Show, it’s not a surprise that Americans across the country are wishing this vehicle would make it to dealership lots in the US.
Coming in around the size of a Ford Focus, the Aegea is luxurious-looking and fierce. An aerodynamic exterior is matched with a wide grille. Engine options for this little vehicle inlcude two turbodiesels and two traditional fuel engines. Offering both manual and automatic transmissions, the Aegea looks to be a vehicle made to please even the pickiest of drivers.
While it is not likely that the vehicle will be sold in North America, due to its similarity to the Dodge Dart, it is interesting to see what the Fiat brand is capable of, and known for, across the world.
