St. Patrick’s Day in Kenosha WI
St Patrick’s Day is always the perfect excuse to head out for some green colored festivities. Whether that means serving up some green colored eggs and ham for the kids or sipping a few green beers at the local pub, there tends to be a little bit of the good old Irish spirit in all of us. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Kenosha WI by going to see the St. Patrick’s Day parade, or participating in the pub crawl. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Even though it might be a stereotype, the Irish are known for having a good time. There is no reason to miss out on having a good time on a holiday that celebrates the Irish spirit. No matter how old you are, there are some great ways to celebrate this year.
The first option is to head over to Racine to watch the 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Parade! On March 14th at noon, downtown Racine will be transformed into a place of green festivities. The parade will include leprechauns and Irish dancers, along with people playing bagpipes and sharing traditional Irish music with all who attend. There will be lots of candy, and several local organizations will be walking and riding in floats. It’s going to be a fantastic time for the whole family and a great experience for anyone looking for something to do with the kids on St. Patrick’s Day.
The Kenosha Area Pipes and Drums Association is going on their annual adventure of a pub crawl across Kenosha. On Saturday March 13th, the band is travelling across Kenosha with a total of 16 stops. Starting at 11am, the band will be playing at each stop for 45 minutes. You can find the itinerary here. Join in the fun and travel from place to place having some celebratory drinks along the way!
