The 500X has two engine and transmission options available. The first is a 1.4-liter MultiAir® turbocharged engine coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. The second engine option is a 2.4-liter Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 engine that is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission capable of delivering up to 180 horsepower. The 500X has a 12.7-gallon fuel tank. Fuel economy ratings depend on the engine and transmission options you choose, as well as the drivetrain.
