After the recalls associated with potential hacking of vehicle systems, Fiat Chrysler is turning to their friends and customers to help prevent future trouble. The rewards range from $150-$1,500 and depend on the importance of the bug discovered, and how many vehicles it affects. Fiat Chrysler will offer the reward system on the Bugcrowd platform, where approximately 30,000 security researchers are members. This innovative way of improving vehicle software, by putting it in the hands of its users, might just be the way of the future! What do you think?
