Connecting Your IPhone to the Uconnect Infotainment System

The larger buttons and simple navigation makes using Apple CarPlay a great choice if your 4th gen. Uconnect system has the capability. Apple CarPlay works for all IPhone that are at least an IPhone 5. Any older phones do not offer the connectivity that is needed for Apple CarPlay.
In order to connect your Iphone with your Uconnect system, simply plug your IPhone into dashboard with a Lightning cable. Your Apple CarPlay system will detect your phone and lock your screen, transmitting the use of your phone to the LCD touchscreen. Now you can use car-specific apps and make phone calls without having the temptation of being distracted by your phone!
