Trick-or-Treat Hours Kenosha WI 2016

Trick-or-treating is one of the most exciting events in a child’s year. It might not be a highlight for adults who are not looking forward to children ingesting crazy amounts of candy, but for kids, it’s right up there with their birthday celebration. Walking from door to door receiving free candy is a great time, if it’s done safely. Read on to find the trick-or-treat hours for Kenosha WI 2016, and also to learn how to make your child’s Halloween as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Seven Halloween Safety Tips for Trick-or-Treating

Tip 1: Plan Your Route: Stick to paths you and your children are familiar with in order to avoid getting lost, or losing track of your kids.
Tip 2: Wear Comfortable Shoes:  Avoid tripping and blisters by making sure your kids are wearing comfy shoes that fit them well.
Tip 3: Stand Out: It might not be the cutest idea, but applying reflective tape and carrying a flashlight can help to ensure that drivers see your children.

Tip 4: Keep Things Short: Shorter costumes are harder to trip over, and are more comfortable on long walks. Keep your kids from tripping by hemming any costumes that drag on the ground.
Tip 5: Skip the Mask: Masks make it hard to see and to breathe. Try our your face-painting skills with some non-toxic makeup instead for a truly unique costume accessory.
Tip 6: Keep Things Plastic:  Make sure that props and pretend weapons that your children use as part of their costume are plastic or rubber to avoid any potential injury.
Tip 7: Go With Your Gut: Look through your child’s candy to toss out anything that’s not in its original wrapper or looks like it might have been opened.
