While there are two main kinds of plug-in hybrids, there are different sized batteries that can hold different capacities in different vehicles. Driving conditions, and style can have an affect on the battery life.

The basic benefits, as we mostly know, are that we use less gas which saves us money. It’s better for the environment because it produces less greenhouse gas emissions. The tricky part is remembering the charging takes time, more or less depending on battery size, and that the vehicles cost more up front. Many states offer rebates and offers that counter the larger price tag and save you money.
