Of course there are methods that require you to buy a special cleaner, but we are here to tell you that you can clean your foggy headlights with items you probably have laying around your house right now! Here’s what you need:
* Windex
* Grainy toothpaste
* A thick piece of cloth like an old sock

How to Clean the Headlights

Step 1: First you want to take some toothpaste and put it on the cloth. Spray the whole light with Windex to get it super wet. Spread the toothpaste onto the headlight. You want to have enough to thinly coat the entire headlight.
Step 2: In small, controlled circles, clean the headlight in the same way that you would if you were waxing a car. You want to avoid putting too much pressure, as this can damage the light. You are working to rub off the oxidation that has accumulated on the light.
Step 3: Spray over the light with the Windex and use the cloth to wipe off all the toothpaste. Keep wiping with the Windex until the light clean again.
Step 4: Enjoy your fresh and clean headlights!
