Make sure you let you kids know about the dangers of trick or treating without following the rules! Here are a few to remember for the big day!
1. Parents should either walk with young kids or assign a check-in time for older kids. It’s important to keep an eye on loved ones, even in the good and happy spirit of Halloween!
2. Wear costumes to fit the weather. Make sure your kids are bundled up for a chilly Halloween night or wearing thinner clothes on a toasty day. In Wisconsin you never know what you’re going to get!
3. Finally and also importantly, teach your kids good manners for their trick or treating adventure! It’s polite to walk on pathways and not cut across lawns. Also make sure to say thank you after receiving treats!
