Vintage Fiat Photos
While looking at images from the Fiat models of today is certainly enjoyable, it’s also a whole lot of fun to take a look back at Fiat’s past and some of the excellent models that have populated the iconic lineup over the years since Fiat first started producing automobiles in 1899. Okay, we won’t dig back that far (not in today’s post, anyway), but these images of Fiat models from years gone by should be a nice trip down memory lane… or if your memory bank doesn’t go back that far (because maybe you weren’t quite born yet!) it can be a fun way to discover some great-looking cars from the past, with a timeless, signature style that still carries on today. These fine folks are just kicking it pond-side next to a Fiat 500 Giardiniera station wagon. It also looks like this powder blue beauty is full of luggage in the back, so this photo was probably taken to demonstrate the impressive passenger and cargo capacity in this precursor to the spacious 500L of today.
Here are some mod-looking youngsters enjoying a waterfront view with the Fiat 850 Sport Coupe. We just love the super-round headlights on this friendly-looking model, and it does not go unnoticed that the hue matches that woman’s dress perfectly!
We have no idea who this man is or what on Earth he’s doing, but the 1967 Fiat 124 Sport Spider he’s standing (and gesturing) in sure looks great.
Finally, we’ve got a Fiat 600 sedan. This one looks a bit like the current Fiat 500 – you can definitely see some of this model’s influence in the shape and stature of the 500, particularly around the back end of the car. We think that whatever that lady’s looking for off in the distance can’t be half as nice as what she’s already got (assuming that’s her car)!
